We first met tennis star Jaime Sommers in the tragic two-part episode of The Six Million Dollar Man that left Jaime dead, and her newlywed husband, Steve Austin (Lee Majors), devastated. However, thanks to huge Nielsen ratings and bionics expert Oscar Goldman (Richard Anderson), Jaime Sommers was brought back to life as The Bionic Woman. Lindsey Wagner won the 1977 Emmy Award for her role as a crime fighting cyborg with, first of all, great hair but more importanlty super hearing in her right ear, super strength in her right arm, and legs so powerful she can jump two stories high and chase down speeding cars. (Note: weather permitting.) Plus, all her powers come with their own snazzy sound effects.
