Monk originally debuted in 2002 for eight seasons on USA Network. The series stars Tony Shalhoub as the lead character, Adrian Monk, a former San Francisco detective who now works as a private consultant for law enforcement while coping with his obsessive-compulsive disorder. Each episode and season circles around his struggles and phobias which are sometimes a hindrance but more often the key to his solving the case!
